While on the surface The Simpsons can make the average person chuckle, let’s not forget what else it’s heavy on:

  • The Masonic symbology and Alice Bailey philosophy interwoven throughout the fabric of the entire series
  • This show was the first show to introduce me the corniness of Christianity in Ned Flanders. Boy was I wrong for believing that one.
  • The imbecilic nature of Homer Simpson (funny then, but in our times now, may be not so much).
  • The predictive programming highlights in Trumps election, Robin Williams death, and others (but it’s just a fictional cartoon right?)

Someone will read this comment and go, “you thinking to hard and reaching for something that’s not there.”

I think it’s a crime when you don’t reach and ask the questions for connections. I thank The Simpsons for making me pause and go, “Why is that there?”
