The Formula to Write Full-Time
It’s not all about write, write, and write some more.
Full disclosure, full transparency: I am not a full-time writer.
Then why in the hell are you penning this piece?
What gives me the gall, the utter audacity to discuss something I have not attained yet?
I can be a bloody arse and say, “Because I can.” But such a response would be a bit too hood.
I can because I know what to do and what not to do. I’m so close to claiming the title that I can almost taste it.
Snarkiness aside, here is my more apropos answer:
- I’ve observed the wins of others
- I’ve observed my weaknesses and compared notes
At this time, I had a sickly 121 articles published on Medium compared to Eve Arnold, who has a whopping 1,080 articles over three years!
Studying the success of others and my shortcomings has allowed me to curate seven bullet points equating to a winning recipe if followed over time.
In this list, I will highlight the glaring weaknesses that prevented me from leaving the 9–5 arena for good.
