Sometimes if you sit back and let middle schoolers watch YouTube videos, you’ll be [insert your own adjective here] at what they watch.
It’s not all music videos with masked hoodlums wielding the dreaded draco in them. You know what is the number one type of video watched?
Mukbangs.
Foodie.
Cheeto and Dorito flavored pasta. The recipes of legends replaying on their screen.
The next time you (as a teacher reading this) want to flip your lid about students slacking off from the assignment at hand, take a deep breath, relax, and allow them to tell you about themselves through YouTube.
Who knows. You may even want some Taki flavored Macaroni for dinner.
