There was this old Sega Genesis game I use to play. It was called, Mutant League Football.

In it was all sorts of races: super humans, trolls, alien lizards, risen skeletons, and robots. The setting took place in a post-apocalyptic time where humanity appeared to have eaten the consequences of their innovations.

I look to my left. A man speeds passed me unhindered by wheels. His feet mimic a gazelle as his postures pulses forward as a cheetah. He harms me not.

My trust is still in Jesus Christ. Where is He?

The master of this world has been made manifest. He has no human name. People adore him.

He has offered a piece of himself to humanity. No more disease. No more genetic disabilities. It almost seems he has corrected the human condition.
