Earlier this year, Medium published an article titled “A New Way to Gain Followers — And More Tips for Writing on Medium,” where they stated the following:

“With our focus on an exceptional reading experience, however, we’ve made the difficult decision to remove story editing features from our native apps as well as controls for profile customization.”

Essentially, the “write story” function was disabled from the native Medium app, which allowed authors to draft and publish stories on the go.

However, after almost a year of absenteeism, the story editing feature is restored, allowing writers to build their writing empire on the go.

Yet I do not have peace of mind despite the generous change. So I worked on a workaround. Here is an alternative to publishing Medium stories from your iPhone without depending on their native app.
