How I Optimized my iPhone for Fast Content Creation
Strategic app organization will make you a mobile monster.
I was a huge laptop advocate thinking it was the device to achieve the pinnacle of productivity. This philosophy lasted from 2010 to 2016.
However, my lifestyle with marriage and “churrin’”, day jobbin’ as a public school teacher, and active church participation doesn’t afford me the luxury to sit at a desk and type my cares away.
So if I wanted achieve this content creation dream in the form of writing and video editing, I had to settle for an unflattering truth: you’re going to have to use your phone, DeShaun.
Yet I hated working from my phone. Going in and out of apps is cumbersome and annoying to an extent especially if your apps are scattered throughout your phone. Fortunately, organizing my apps eased that pain calming my nerves and sanity in the process.
If I want to compete at a high level, then becoming a portable creator is my best bet.
Heck this article is being written on my iPhone as we speak, thumbs stretching across the ether of the iOS digital keyboard to manifest this message.
Honestly, I would suggest you do the same if you’re a writer and/or video creator.
