Hold the Applause

When life hands you lemons there are consequences for resisting what life has given you.

You are great. You are awesome. You matter. When you enter the room, it’s all about you.

I am manifesting my present self which will become my future self.

I have been listening to The Secret for three years now. I am living evidence that the law of attraction works.

As they thinketh, so are they.

“You’re on in 15 minutes.” My assistant who almost literally worships the ground that I walk on informs me.

After my affirmations, my expensive shoes, happy to be worn on feet that rival Jesus Christ walking on water, carry me outside the dressing room.

Can you hear that crowd? I would expect nothing less.

“Are you ready sir?”

“Why would you waste your words with such an inquiry?” I asked myself. “Do you doubt me? I also have an internal problem with you addressing me as ‘sir.’”

My chin pulled my expression towards her nodding with confirmation.

I was born ready for this.

The curtain couldn’t contain the celebration. On the other side were people wanting my words of wisdom.

And I wanted worship.

They love me! They really do! Their savior has arrived!
