Over March, my wife and I listened to the Audible version of WILL. If I committed to Will Smith narrating his own life, I knew that I would receive elite entertainment in my heart of hearts.

And boy, was I right.

If you read or listened to this book before Will’s Oscar outburst, then it comes as no surprise that him rocking Chris Rock is not shocking. This event is an expected result of Will’s childhood — him growing into a people pleaser and self-appointed coward.

However, whether audio or text you decide to devour Mr. Smith’s narrative, I am forewarning you to…

Suspend ALL Jiggy Willy Assumptions You Have

I’m going to speak from the perspective of the audio experience moving forward.

You might think, “Oh! It’s Will Smith. I should be fine playing this aloud around my kids.”

There should be a parental advisory sticker on the Audible graphic to his book as Will Smith unflinchingly drops f-bombs to give the reader, what I assume, is the most honest, sincerest story possible.
