5 Ways Medium Can Boost Your Writing Career
As writers, we all need a little boost.
Medium is a writing platform designed as “a place to write, read, and connect.” That’s what I have done since 2019, and you can too if you are a working writer or a jaded teacher who wants to complain about our excellent education system. There’s a niche for almost everyone.
How can this miracle platform help you grow as a writer? In no particular order, here’s your listicle for today.
1. If your writing is good, it may get picked up and re-shared by more prominent media publications.
Heck, you may even be recruited by those same publications to write for them.
Has it happened to me yet? Not really, but I’m confident as my writing continues to gain traction. But other writers such as Abena Talks and Ayodeji Awosika attest that this is a reality. So write about relevant topics that people want to read, such as “passive income” and “how to make money online.”
If you continue to hold the fort, you’ll eventually receive the “Pikachu! I CHOOSE YOU!!!!” treatment.
